It’s been some weeks since I listen for the first time the new Kotzen’s album, it was the first weekend of the lockdown and one of my best friends came to me asking very excited if I have heard the new album from Richie Kotzen. Now I know why.

I must confess that I lost the track of Mr. Kotzen since his concert in Mexico City in July 2017 where I was really fascinated, he’s really talented, and I consider him as the best guitarist I have seen alive, If you think he’s good in the album, you would love him alive, he don’t have the biggest show, but its really unnecessary with the great quality of his musicians Dylan Wilson (bass) and Mike Bennett (Drums), they make a lot of HQ noise, making an incredible environment.

Kotzen celebrate his 50th birthday with 50 songs in the newest album 50 for 50 in which you can notice he didn’t limit himself and it have a great variety of songs passing from some progressive song to another pop songs as When God Made You & More Than This. If you don’t know what to listen for and you feel that the 2020 don’t have an enough new music, with this album, I’m sure you will have music for a while.

And if you don’t know Richie Kotzen, this is a great moment to explore his music and the sign he left in different bands as Poison, Mr. Big, Wilson Hawk and The Winery Dogs, as his solo career.

I invite you to explore more of the Kotzens music!
